How to create a new application:

  1. Click on the Setup icon
  2. Select Apps - App Manager page
  3. Click on the New Lightning App button

  1. Fill in the label of the application in the App Name field, the Developer Name field will filled in automatically
  2. Click on the Next button

  1. Select only the Desktop radio button in the Supported Form Factors block
  2. Click on the Next button twice

  1. Find tabs that should be added to the applications in the Available Items column and move them to the Selected Items column. Note: The order in which the tabs are added in the column is the order in which they will appear on the navigation panel.
  2. Click on the Next button and Click on the Save & Finish button

  1. Go to the User Interface - App Menu page in the Setup.
  2. Ensure that the created application is settled as Visible in the App Launcher.
