The Booking Engine refers to a publicly accessible webpage that enables guests to make reservations for accommodations via their personal computer or mobile phone, without requiring them to physically visit the hotel.

A. Setup the Booking Engine

1. Enter all sites in the Quick Find box and select All Sites.

2. Click the New button.

3. Select the Booking Engine Template.

   

4. Click the Get Started button.

5. Enter the Name. Click the Create button.

   

6. Click Builder to open the Builder page.

   

7. Click the gear icon to open the Setting menu.

8. Click the checkbox on the Public Access. Click Close on the prompt.

   

9. Click Publish to publish the Booking Engine page. New prompt popup appears, click Publish.

   

B. Set the Permission Set

1. Click Booking Engine Profile

   

2. Click the View Users button. Click Site Guest User, Booking Engine.

   

3. On the Users page, scroll down and click Edit Assignments on the Permission Set Assignments session.

1. Select Booking Engine and click the Add button. Click the Save button.
