The Booking Engine refers to a publicly accessible webpage that enables guests to make reservations for accommodations via their personal computer or mobile phone, without requiring them to physically visit the hotel.

A. Prepare permission set for the Booking Engine

1. Clone the Booking Engine permission set
2. Click on the cloned permission set label to edit it
3. Object Settings → Contact Details - add the permissions to read and create
4. Object Settings → User External Credentials - add the permissions to read

B. Setup the Booking Engine

1. Enter all sites in the Quick Find box and select All Sites.

2. Click the New button.

3. Select the Booking Engine Template.

   

4. Click the Get Started button.

5. Enter the Name. Click the Create button.

   

6. Click Administration to open the Administration page.

1. Click on the Activate button.
