How to add a new Tab:

  1. Click on the Setup icon
  2. Select User Interface - Tabs page
  3. Click on the New button in the Custom Object Tabs or in the Lighting Component Tabs (depending on which tab should be added)

How to add a new Custom Object Tab:

  1. Select an object in the dropdown - Object field
  2. Select any Tab Style
  3. Click on the Next button twice and then click on the Save button (no additional changes needed)

How to add a new Lightning Component Tab:

  1. Select a component in the dropdown - Lightning Component field
  2. Fill in a unique label in the Tab Label field, the Tab Name field will filled automatically
  3. Select any Tab Style
  4. Click on the Next button and then click on the Save button (no additional changes needed)
